Walnut Bend has a Recreation Center with a full size gym, tumbling floor, kitchen and offices.
The Walnut Bend Rec Center is home of the famous HOUSTON ILLUSIONS RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS TEAM which has produced a number of U.S. National Team members. Rhythmic gymnastics combines ballet and creative movements to music, while working with ribbons, balls, hoops, ropes and clubs in a choreographed dance and tumble routine. High caliber instruction is offered in all levels of gymnastics, both competitive and non competitive
