The Walnut Bend Moms Club is a volunteer organization open to all neighborhood moms of Walnut Bend and Lakeside Estates/Forest. The Walnut Bend Mom’s Club strives to create new friendships with our neighbors and provide a place where children can build lasting memories. All moms who are interested in fostering new friendships, coordinating neighborhood family events, and organizing various social/community projects are welcome to join meetings throughout the year.

The Walnut Bend Goodtimers Club of Walnut Bend was established in the early nineties by a few 'over 50's' people in the subdivision. It has grown to a membership of approximately 70 persons since its beginning. The purpose of the club is to promote and build a sense of community among the senior residents of Walnut Bend. This is accomplished through monthly trips, monthly luncheons and special interest groups, Computer/Conversation Group, Men's Coffee Group, and occasional evening events The group has also developed a caring network among its members.
