Walnut Bend is an active, established neighborhood of lovely homes and mature trees located in west Houston. The neighborhood is sought after for it’s community feel, location near great restaurants, upscale shopping, and close proximity to the west side Energy Corridor. The Buffalo Bayou and Terry Hershey Park border the subdivision to the North and provide a natural setting for walking, jogging, biking, and exploring. All residents of Walnut Bend can enjoy our seasonal community events as well as amenities such as recreation center gymnasium, pool, park, playground, tennis courts and many active social and civic groups.

We have two doubles tennis courts, one singles tennis court that soon available for pickleball as well, gymnasium with basketball court, large covered pavilion with tables, large soccer field, and indoor kitchen available for online reservations.

No Increase in dues for 2026
Annual statements were mailed by Genesis Community Management in December via USPS mail. The Board voted to keep the 2026 dues the same as 2025. The due dates are also the same with the annual fee and first half of service fee due in January. You will receive a late fee if not paid by January 31st. The second half of the service fee is due July 1st but can also be paid in January.
